Hand Made Sculpture. Created in Stone Plaster and Plaster of Paris moulded onto a hand sculpted metal armature. approx 60cm high.

She is a symbol of 'unity' of synthesis. An effigy of strength. Writing on her single foot '1 step' to remind the spirit it takes merely one in the right direction. Her surface is rough and smooth in part to make the gold an undulating surface for light and dark, and to remind us that beneath our skin are levels of complexity. The bird and the eggs symbolising rebirth - always being capable of starting again.
She is in a position of composure ready to start once more on the path less trodden!
